You will probably need two sessions to fully eradicate the fleas, one in the spring and the other in the summer. If you live in a warm and humid climate, you may want to consider monthly treatments.

You should repeat the flea dip twice per month until your dog is free of these blood sucking parasites. For further treatment, use a spray on short haired dogs or a powder on long haired dogs in between dips.
